The Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering takes pride in moulding full fledged diploma engineers who set out to render their services to the society with competence and dynamism since its inception in 1995. It aims at grooming its students with a sound grasp of fundamentals and adequate exposure to the latest fields. Seminars, workshop, technical lectures by eminent personalities and frequent field visits are arranged to expose the students to recent technical knowhow.
Students undergo inplant training during their vacations thereby enabling the students to have an idea of practical problems faced by the industries. With the support of World Bank Aid, MHRD and AICTE, under the thrust area and modernization scheme all the laboratories are getting equipped with the state of art instruments. The product of this Department are placed in some of the most prestigious public and private sector undertakings.
The well experienced staff aid the dedicated students in undergoing the rigorous curriculum with a unique student – teacher relationship
The students work on latest microprocessor kits. They also avail the CAD facilities in the computers center.
Since theory without practicals is fruitless and practicals without theory is rootless, due weightage is given to both theory and practicals.
Excellent project works are selected to foster the creative talents in students, give them a taste of real life problem solving and thus simulate industrial environment within the polytechnic.
Periodical technical and personality development programmes are being conducted by the department for the students development.
