There was an age when a Literate needed to know only three R’s-Reading Writing and Arithmetic. Now he needs to know the fourth R also-Computer. This is the era of Information Technology. The Department of Computer and Information Technology impart sound and versatile knowledge in the Latest trends in the field of Information Technology by providing the theoretical knowledge, Practical skills to match the challenging needs of the ever growing IT industry today. A good proportion of our students have been selected for B.E, and another in the campus placement. They also go through In-plant training in notable concerns like HCL, WIPRO, Lenovo SPI Technologies etc.

Adapting or tuning with the fast growing technology has become essential which is possible if enough infrastructures built in. This institute is equipped with four modern Computer laboratories, Hardware servicing lab and Microprocessor lab with high configuration computers, Server and other computer accessories .These have been made available to the students to develop their required skills. Computer center function as part of the administrative block, measuring about 2000 sq.ft.

The computer center furnished with the following facilities:
Provision of dust free environment with the aid of enough Air conditioners.
PVC flooring with false ceiling.
Latest Teaching aids like chalk less boards, Overhead Projectors, LCD Projectors etc.,
Specially designed computer work tables and chairs.
Proper and excellent lighting arrangements for using computers without eye strain.
